Instructions
- Prepare two cake batters — one vanilla, one chocolate — by creaming butter, sugar, and eggs, then adding dry ingredients.
- Fold M&M candies into the vanilla batter for bursts of color and crunch.
- Bake each layer separately at 350°F until soft and fluffy, then cool completely.
- Stack alternating vanilla and chocolate layers with a thick spread of chocolate frosting in between.
- Cover the entire cake with chocolate frosting, smoothing the surface.
- Press M&M candies all around the sides and sprinkle generously on top.
- Chill slightly before slicing for clean, candy-packed layers.
