Description

A delicious recipe for homemade pecan sticky buns, perfect for breakfast or dessert!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, egg, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, knead until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough and spread brown sugar and pecans on top.
  6. Roll tightly and cut into buns.
  7. Place buns in a greased baking dish.
  8. Pour maple syrup over the buns.
  9. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
