Ingredients

- Lemon juice

- Cornstarch
- Egg wash (egg + water)
- Red and green food coloring (for pumpkin design)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and prepare a pie dish with one crust as the base.
- Toss apple slices with sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch until coated.
- Spread apple mixture evenly over the bottom crust.
- Roll out second crust and carve a Jack-O’-Lantern face with a sharp knife.
- Brush crust with egg wash, tint with food coloring for pumpkin and leaf effect.
- Place decorated crust over the pie and seal edges.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbling; cool slightly before serving.
