Description

Delicious hot dogs cooked to perfection in the Instant Pot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 medium hot dogs
  • 3 cups beer (or can use water, or half and half)

Instructions

  1. Put hot dogs into Instant Pot or pressure cooker with enough water to cover them barely.
  2. If you’re cooking multiple packages, just cover about halfway up; 3 cups is usually sufficient for 1 package.
  3. If using hot dogs with casings, set to low pressure for 3 minutes.
  4. If using packaged hot dogs without casings (Oscar Mayer style), set for just 1 minute.
  5. For cooking in bulk (more than 20) or frozen hot dogs, set for 2 minutes (separated from one another before adding).
  6. Quick release and put into buns with all the fixings.

Notes

  • Hot dogs with casings will take a bit longer to cook.
  • Ensure hot dogs are separated if cooking from frozen.
