A rich and creamy chocolate treat made with cottage cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat, well drained)
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Add the cottage cheese to a blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Add cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Blend again until the mixture is silky and fully combined, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips if using.
- Line a small loaf pan or square dish with parchment paper and pour the mixture evenly into the pan.
- Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm and sliceable.
- Cut into small squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- For an extra chocolate flavor, you can add more cocoa powder.
- This dessert can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
