Delicious and spooky chocolate dirt cups, perfect for Halloween parties!

- 1 package (14 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 package (3 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
- Gummy worms, tombstone cookies, Halloween sprinkles (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pulse the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor until finely crushed. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk. Let it set for 5 minutes.
- In a separate large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
- Add the set pudding to the cream cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
- Begin layering in clear cups: start with crushed cookies, then a layer of pudding mixture. Repeat as desired.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in 30-second intervals until smooth. Stir well.
- Spoon or pipe the ganache around the cup rims for a drip effect. Chill to set.
- Pipe a swirl of remaining cream on top and decorate with gummy worms, cookie tombstones, and sprinkles.
Notes
- For best results, allow the cups to chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
