- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp baking powder

- 4 cups your favorite ice cream (softened slightly)
- Optional mix-ins (such as chocolate chips, nuts, or cookie pieces)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar, mixing until well blended. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Add cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan, smoothing it out evenly.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely.
- Once the brownies are cooled, gently spread your softened ice cream over the brownie layer.
- If using mix-ins, sprinkle them evenly across the ice cream layer. Smooth it out with a spatula.
- Cover the cake with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until fully set.
- When ready to serve, remove the cake from the springform pan and let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly.
