Description

Easy and delicious pita bread pizzas perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pizza sauce (or sauce of choice)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, etc.)
  • toppings of choice (pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, sausage, taco meat, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400℉ (200℃).
  2. Spread a thin layer (about 1-2 tablespoons) of sauce on each pita bread.
  3. Top with an even layer of shredded cheese to cover sauce.
  4. Add toppings of choice.
  5. Place the assembled pita bread pizzas on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove the pita pizzas from the oven and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
