- 6 pita breads
- 1 cup pizza sauce (or sauce of choice)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, etc.)
- toppings of choice (pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, sausage, taco meat, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400℉ (200℃).
- Spread a thin layer (about 1-2 tablespoons) of sauce on each pita bread.
- Top with an even layer of shredded cheese to cover sauce.
- Add toppings of choice.
- Place the assembled pita bread pizzas on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Remove the pita pizzas from the oven and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
