Description

A delicious layered dessert with a pretzel crust, cream cheese filling, and fresh strawberries.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 3 oz strawberry gelatin

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely.
  4. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping gently.
  5. Add sliced strawberries and dry strawberry gelatin to the cream mixture; stir carefully.
  6. Spread the mixture over the cooled pretzel crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Cut into squares or scoop portions with a spatula to serve chilled.

Notes

  • For best results, serve chilled.
  • Can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
