Description

Delicious beef and cheese filled tortilla rolls, perfect for a quick meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying or baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a skillet for frying.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onions over medium heat until browned; add garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. Roll a small amount of beef-cheese mixture in each tortilla; secure with toothpick if needed.
  5. Bake on a baking sheet for 20 minutes or fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with sour cream or salsa.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add diced jalapeños or other spices.
