Description

Enjoy this refreshing and creamy peach layered dessert, perfect for summer gatherings or as a light, fruity indulgence!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 45 Fresh peaches, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 24 Graham crackers or shortbread cookies, for layering
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar (optional, for peach mixture)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice, to prevent peaches from browning
  • Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peach Mixture:

In a bowl, mix the sliced peaches with optional granulated sugar and lemon juice. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  2. Make the Cream Layer:

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and well combined.

  3. Assemble the Layers:

Arrange a layer of graham crackers or cookies at the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish. Spread a layer of the cream mixture over the cookies. Add a layer of peach slices on top of the cream. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cream and peaches on top.

  4. Chill:

Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to blend and the layers to set.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to blend easily into the cream.
  • For an extra crunchy texture, lightly toast the graham crackers or cookies before layering.
  • Experiment with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg in the cream for additional warmth and flavor.
  • The dessert can be made a day in advance, making it a perfect make-ahead treat.
