Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream (or milk)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (roasted or sautéed)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chives (chopped, for garnish)
  • Olive oil (optional for roasting garlic)
  • A pinch of chili flakes (optional for heat)

Instructions

  1. Peel and boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15–20 minutes.
  2. In a small pan, melt butter and lightly sauté or roast garlic until fragrant.
  3. Drain potatoes and mash until smooth.
  4. Slowly mix in warm cream and butter-garlic mixture until creamy and fluffy.
  5. Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and make small swirls on top for presentation.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives, a drizzle of melted butter, and a pinch of chili flakes.
