- 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough onto a clean, lightly floured surface until it reaches about ½ inch thick.
- Cut the dough into strips of your preferred thickness.
- Place shredded mozzarella cheese along the center of each strip.
- Fold the dough over the cheese and seal the edges to prevent leakage.
- Brush the sticks with melted butter and sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for a minute, then cut apart and serve with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Store-bought dough is convenient but homemade works well too.
- Mozzarella is classic, but feel free to mix in other cheeses.
