A delicious and creamy dip filled with fresh vegetables and cheeses, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup broccoli florets, chopped
- 1 cup diced bell peppers (preferably a mix of colors)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- French bread slices or crackers for serving
Instructions
-
Prepare Vegetables: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the broccoli and bell peppers until slightly tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
Mix Cheese and Base: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese into the cream mixture until fully combined.
-
Combine: Add the sautéed vegetables and cherry tomatoes to the cheese mixture. Stir together until evenly distributed.
-
Bake: Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
-
Serve: Remove from the oven. Let it cool slightly before serving. Arrange the French bread slices or crackers around the dip.
Notes
- For a spicy twist, add a dash of hot sauce or a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute or add other vegetables such as zucchini or mushrooms.
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easier mixing. Leaving it at room temperature for about 30 minutes before preparation helps.
- This dip can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving to save time.
