- 8 ounces pasta (like rigatoni or shells)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Pasta: Boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent. Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Season: Stir in the marinara sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Combine: In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta and the beef sauce mixture. Add half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until evenly combined.
- Assemble: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
