- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- ¾ cup butter (melted)
- 4 cups peeled, diced apples
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and melted butter to form a crumbly dough.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the dish as the base.
- Toss apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt, then spread evenly over the base.
- Sprinkle remaining crumble mixture on top and bake for 35–40 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly, then drizzle generously with caramel sauce.
- Slice into bars and serve warm or chilled.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a mix of sweet and tart apples.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
