Description

Soft, fluffy focaccia squares brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with herbs — the ultimate pull-apart bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or Italian herbs
  • Flaky salt for topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, and warm water; knead until soft and elastic.
  2. Drizzle olive oil into a baking dish and press dough evenly inside.
  3. Let rise for 30–40 minutes until puffy.
  4. Dimple the dough with your fingertips and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic and herbs.
  5. Bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Brush again with warm garlic butter after baking.
  7. Sprinkle with herbs and flaky salt, then slice into soft, pillowy bites.

Notes

  • Ensure the water is warm but not hot to activate the yeast properly.
  • For extra flavor, you can add more herbs or garlic to the butter mixture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
