Instructions
- Prepare the base with crushed chocolate cookies mixed with butter or use a thin chocolate sponge layer.
- Whip heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form.
- Blend mascarpone, vanilla, and espresso (if using), then fold in whipped cream.
- Bloom gelatin, dissolve, and fold into the mousse mixture for stability.
- Pour mousse over the base in a cake ring and smooth the top.
- Chill for at least 6 hours or overnight until fully set.
- Decorate with piped cocoa-dusted mousse swirls and a few whipped cream accents.
