Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (for crust)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate (melted)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (whipped)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
  • 4 oz dark chocolate (for ganache)
  • Chocolate curls (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed cookies with melted butter and press into a parchment-lined 8×8 pan. Chill to set.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, melted chocolate, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Fold in whipped cream gently to create a mousse layer. Spread evenly over the crust.
  4. Chill for 30 minutes while preparing ganache.
  5. Heat 1/2 cup cream, pour over chopped dark chocolate, stir until glossy.
  6. Pour ganache over mousse layer and smooth the top.
  7. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with chocolate curls before slicing.
