Golden crispy French toast filled with creamy cheesecake and sweet strawberry jam.

- 8 slices brioche or thick bread
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup strawberry jam
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp butter (for cooking)
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Spread over 4 slices of bread.
- Spread strawberry jam on top, then cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Heat butter in a skillet and cook sandwiches until golden brown on both sides.
- Slice in half and dust with powdered sugar.
- Serve warm with extra strawberries or syrup if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese.
- Feel free to substitute the strawberry jam with other fruit jams.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
