Ingredients
Scale
- 8 Hot dogs
- 1 can Crescent roll dough (or puff pastry)
- Egg wash (optional for shine)
- Mustard or ketchup (for eyes)

- Cheese slices (optional for extra filling)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease or line a baking sheet.
- Unroll crescent dough and cut into thin strips.
- Wrap strips around each hot dog, leaving small gaps for ‘eyes.’
- Brush lightly with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until dough is puffed and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then dot on mustard or ketchup eyes.
- Serve warm with extra dipping sauces.
Notes
- For a cheesy version, add cheese slices inside the crescent roll before wrapping.
- Ensure the dough is not too thick to allow for even cooking.
