- 4 cups Potatoes (cubed)
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese
- 6 strips Bacon
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tbsp Butter
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Fresh chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and butter a casserole dish.
- Boil cubed potatoes until just tender; drain well.
- In a saucepan, mix heavy cream, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Toss potatoes with cream mixture and half the cheddar cheese.
- Transfer to casserole dish, sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Top with crispy bacon and fresh chives before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding more spices or herbs.
- Can substitute bacon with turkey bacon for a lighter option.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
