Description

Creamy, cheesy potatoes baked to perfection with crispy bacon and fresh chives.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Potatoes (cubed)
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 6 strips Bacon
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and butter a casserole dish.
  2. Boil cubed potatoes until just tender; drain well.
  3. In a saucepan, mix heavy cream, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Toss potatoes with cream mixture and half the cheddar cheese.
  5. Transfer to casserole dish, sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Top with crispy bacon and fresh chives before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding more spices or herbs.
