A bold Halloween showstopper — bright orange cake with black chocolate drip, spooky webs, bats, and pumpkin toppers.

- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Orange food coloring (for frosting)
- Black cocoa powder or food gel (for drip & piping)
- Fondant pumpkins & bats (for decorations)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease three 8-inch cake pans.
- Make cake batter with flour, butter, sugar, eggs, baking agents, and vanilla; bake for 30–35 minutes.
- Prepare buttercream frosting and tint it bright orange.
- Stack cake layers with frosting in between, then frost the outside smoothly in orange.
- Make a black ganache drip and carefully pour along the top edges.
- Pipe black buttercream webs and swirls around the bottom border.
- Place fondant pumpkins, bats, and spooky trees on top for a Halloween centerpiece.

- Ensure the cake layers are completely cool before frosting.
- Use gel food coloring for a more vibrant orange.
