- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt; stir in yogurt to form a soft dough.
- Knead until smooth, then rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide dough into portions, flatten slightly, and fill with shredded mozzarella.
- Seal edges and roll gently into a disc.
- Cook in a hot skillet or bake at 450°F until puffed and golden with brown spots.
- Brush immediately with melted butter mixed with minced garlic.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add herbs to the butter.
- Make sure the skillet is hot before cooking the naan for best results.
- Serve with your favorite curry or as a standalone snack.
