- 1 loaf of crusty bread
- 8 oz Brie cheese
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and place bread on a lined baking tray.
- Slice the bread in a crosshatch pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Insert chunks of brie cheese into the cuts.
- Spoon cranberry sauce into remaining gaps.
- Brush bread with melted garlic butter.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
- Sprinkle with fresh thyme or rosemary before serving warm.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, use aged brie.
- Feel free to add other herbs like parsley or chives.
