Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Prepare pastry dough with flour, butter, sugar, and a splash of vanilla; chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll and shape dough into tall pastry molds, cutting circles for lids.
- Bake shells and lids at 350°F (175°C) until golden; cool completely.
- Make ganache by heating cream and pouring over chopped chocolate until smooth.
- Spoon ganache into cooled pastry shells and let set slightly.
- Add fresh cherries on top of ganache.
- Dust lids with powdered sugar, cover the pastry boxes, and serve.

- Ensure the cherries are fresh and pitted for best results.
