Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare pastry dough with flour, butter, sugar, and a splash of vanilla; chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll and shape dough into tall pastry molds, cutting circles for lids.
  3. Bake shells and lids at 350°F (175°C) until golden; cool completely.
  4. Make ganache by heating cream and pouring over chopped chocolate until smooth.
  5. Spoon ganache into cooled pastry shells and let set slightly.
  6. Add fresh cherries on top of ganache.
  7. Dust lids with powdered sugar, cover the pastry boxes, and serve.
