Description

Fluffy golden bread stuffed with garlic butter, herbs, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of bread (Italian or French)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and place bread loaf on a baking sheet.
  2. Slice bread diagonally into a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Melt butter with garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper, then brush generously into the cuts.
  4. Stuff mozzarella and Parmesan shreds into the sliced gaps.
  5. Wrap loaf lightly in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake an additional 3–5 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with parsley, slice apart, and serve warm.

  • For extra flavor, add herbs like oregano or basil to the garlic butter.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture.
