Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup pastry cream or whipped cream cheese filling
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt alternately with milk until smooth.
  4. Divide batter into liners and bake 18–20 minutes until golden. Let cool.
  5. Fill a piping bag with cream filling, poke into the center of each cupcake, and fill generously.
  6. Spread or pipe more cream on top as frosting.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve.
