Description

A delicious layered dessert combining banana bread, vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf banana bread, sliced
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Whipped cream for garnish
  • Banana slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap, allowing extra to hang over the sides.
  2. Layer half of the banana bread slices on the bottom of the pan.
  3. Spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream over the banana bread.
  4. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining banana bread, ice cream, caramel, and pecans.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. Remove from the pan, slice, and serve with whipped cream and banana slices.

Notes

  • This dessert can be prepared a day in advance for convenience.
