Description
A delicious layered dessert combining banana bread, vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf banana bread, sliced
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Whipped cream for garnish
- Banana slices for garnish
Instructions
- Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap, allowing extra to hang over the sides.
- Layer half of the banana bread slices on the bottom of the pan.
- Spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream over the banana bread.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Repeat layers with remaining banana bread, ice cream, caramel, and pecans.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Remove from the pan, slice, and serve with whipped cream and banana slices.
Notes
- This dessert can be prepared a day in advance for convenience.
- Feel free to substitute mixed nuts or chocolate sauce for a variation.
